Plan a Garden Party for the Coronation of King Charles on 6th May. Fully resourced activity which takes around 90mins. Suitable for KS2-3. Perfect for an afternoon activity in the run up to the Coronation or could be paired with my other Coronation activities in my TES shop for a full day of Coronation themed work. Great maths links as well as organisation, planning and team work opportunities.

National Pet Day is on the 11th April this Powerpoint has lots of discussion about why we love our pets and the benefits of having pets. Then involves designing a dream pet. Would work for any time to look at pets. Suitable for KS2 &3 but could easily be adapted for KS1.

Powerpoint for Shakespeare Day, focuses on who Shakespeare was then introduces a sonnet for KS2-5 with a reading and discussion oppurtunites for each. Depending on the nature of the group you may use others with different year groups. Students can then have a go at writing their own sonnet.

Used to create a wreath with my form for Remembrance Day in November. Students wrote down names of local soldiers on each poppy.
